The first All-age trial of the season started in stark contrast to the weather and
ground conditions of the Derby trial just two weeks prior. It was now 29 degrees
Celsius (85 degrees F) and it really tested the dogs' mettle. There were 24 lines scored
in the 4-hour day by 5 pairs of judges. The game was definitely up and moving about
and the dogs ran hard in the unseasonable heat. Happyrun Zag finished for his Beagle
Fox Champion title with this win.
