What a trial for the 2011 CBFTA Fall Classic! Non stop, blinding fast. All Dogs were cast in one pack
at 8:00AM, they had a start at 8:01AM, the running was absolutely awesome and did not stop until it
was stopped when the horn was sounded at 12:00PM. Many Judges had to return to the gallery for
a 2nd pad to record all of the score that they were getting. CBFTA President Roy Mays and Master
of Hounds Derrick Brazier had there hands full just tallying the score!
Customized leather dog leads were awarded to all placing hounds (very, very popular with those in
attendence) an engraved plate on the lead indicated the trial, date, and the placement of the
hound - Derrick Brazier came up with the idea and took care of getting the leads - well done
Derrick. This was trial was truley a "Fall Classic".

There are good dogs, there are great dogs, and occasionally there is the exceptional dog -- the dog that exceeds all
dreams and expectations. When the exceptional dog is given the arena that requires his particular talent, you have
managed to capture "lightning in a bottle." Zoomer is one such dog. But this is no surprise when you look at his
breeding. His sire and dam were no slouches. Between them, they busted many records and won many Hound Of the
Year awards. They were truly great dogs in their own right. But at just over 3 years old, Zoomer has broken almost
every standing CBFTA record:
1. Most wins in CBFTA History (1 - Derby Trial, and 8 - All Age Trials)
2. Most wins in a single trial season (6 - All Age Trial Wins 2011 Season)
3. Most consecutive wins in CBFTA History (5 Consecutive All Age Trial Wins 2011 Season)

Dan Kane (Happyrun Beagles) has been retired from Beagling for just over 1 year now. Zoomer, Dan's last beagle,

to take this opportunity to congratulate Dan for retiring from Beagling on such a high note, and thank him for giving us
such a fine hound to appreciate and hopefully perpetuate in our own kennels.
